Stress, High Heels, and Flooding. Booyah.

Hey lovelies!

This week's video unfortunately has fallen to the back burner. This week has been a bit stressful as I've been finishing up a couple project for my 2D and Illustrator/Indesign class. I've tentatively planned on filming on sunday, so hopefully I'll have it up by Monday afternoon.

The video is going to be called "Stupid Girls" and it corresponds with last week's video "Stupid Boys." I'm hoping people like it as much as they liked "Stupid Boys." To give you a little something to look forward to, my friends, Diane and Adriana, helped me film. I went out in the flooding when school was cancelled, in shoes that look like this...not the rain boots in the background...although they'd be more appropriate. :]]

It flooded so much, my college campus closed for the day (the first time for flooding since 1996), and THIS is what I decided to do with my friday off?? Haha.

Anyway, thanks for being patient with me. Definitely a new video early next week. <3

Much Love,
Renée

Atlanta, Georgia

For my art classes I need some dark, worthless clothing that I'm not afraid to get dirty and such. So my friend and I ventured to goodwill. The instant I saw this sweatshirt I wanted it. I think it's hilarious. Don't ask me why. I'm not from Atlanta, Georgia. I've never been there. I don't know anyone who is from there either. But now I own it. And it makes me laugh. <3

J-scribble AND Hanklerfish!!

It's my lucky day!! :DD

Official: Uber Nerd Status

Hello Lovely People!!

Week one of Winter term: complete! So far my new term resolutions are going well. I'm keeping up with my work, eating healthy...healthier than before, and I'm even reading a bit more. However, I have yet to do my laundry. It's an uphill battle.

I made a video this week, pointing a few absurdities in my Interpersonal Communications textbook. I felt like an uber nerd. I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that I am an uber nerd.

For those of you who asked, these are the classes I'm taking: Foundations in 2D art, Computers in Visual Arts, Foundations Drawing 1, Interpersonal Communications, and Group Guitar.

I got an email from Amazon the other day saying my copy of John Green's The Fault in Our Stars had shipped. I can't wait to read it. If any of you are on youtube half as much as I am, then you know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping I get a hanklerfish or a yeti along with my j-scribble, but I'm pretty excited about just the j-scribble, too. That probably sounds like gibberish to normal people. For my birthday, my dad ordered John's version of the audio. Double stoked!

Wow, definitely an uber nerd.

Much love,
Renée

Back Into the Swing of Things

Hello lovely people,

So it’s a little late for a new-year’s-blog, but I thought I’d tell you Happy New Year anyway. So, uhm, yeah. Happy New Year! Haha.

I didn’t do much over the Winter Break. I made a few YouTube videos. I watched a lot of the O.C. and a lot of Vampire Diaries. I didn’t have a car for almost a week, because I had to replace my clutch, so I ended up watching way too much TV on my laptop. OH well.

Today is the first day back into the swing of things. I have a 7-hour break between classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. If all goes to plan, I’ll be productive for once and get things done in this time, but let’s be honest here for a moment. I’ll probably end up re-watching episodes of Vampire Diaries and Doctor Who.

I’m really excited for this term. I’m taking more art classes and music classes which actually go towards my major unlike the chemistry class I took last term.

I am so happy I am back in the dorm. I have a new roommate and she’s pretty cool! No offense to my parents, but they were cramping my style, except of course when they paid to fix my car, and when they gave me gas money, and when they, you know, made food and stuff. But other than that, they really were overrated. <3 <3

Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful break. Tell me what you did in the comment section, because I have to live vicariously through you!

Much Love,
Renée
